B-day
Happy Birthday To Me! 26. I'm more than half way through my 20's already.
Rob finished the final book of Harry Potter tonight. I however am still on the 6th book. The ending of this book as already been ruined for me. People just can't keep quiet. I am really really hoping I do not find out how the last book ends before I read it. I fear I will though.
Spongebob is going to capture Rob in the net.
What party would it be without party favors?
Last weekend Rob and I went to see Composer/Conductor John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl. It was neat to see the guy who composed the famous movie themes like Star Wars, Jaws, ET, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, Home Alone, and many more. Good concert. All last week mom and dad went to Jamaica to surprise their friend for her birthday. Looked like fun in the pictures they took. Someday I want to go to a tropical beach for a week vacation.
Here are some pictures.

Michael Meyers' house (the one from the very beginning of the movie)
Work is going pretty good now. I work closely with the new office manager and so far no problems. So that is good.
Drew got accepted on the Law Review at Temple University Law School. The law review is a really prestigious thing to be on and it is really hard to do. After the pressure of finals were over, he had to read through 400 pages of assigned research front and back (thats 800 pages) and write a research paper. All this in a one week time period. Most first year law students try for it. They are then chosen by a combination of their paper and their GPA. "Membership on the law review staff is highly sought after by law students, as it often has a significant impact on their subsequent careers as attorneys... many see the selection process as helping differentiate the best and the brightest from an already strong group of law students." -wikipedia on law review So congrats Drew! Glad your internship with that judge is going good too.
Yesterday Rob and I went to Americafest at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena for the 4th Of July. It was a good time. There was food and some kiddie stuff outside the stadium. The food was extremely expensive. A coke like you get from a vending machine cost $4! Rob and I went on the field and sat on a blanket which was very nice. We weren't squished in a crowd. The stadium does not look big enough to hold a super bowl at all. It seems much smaller than the Bills stadium. Anyway, the California Philharmonic Orchestra played some songs. So did a drum and bugle corp. Very nice. The fireworks were pretty and very good. I tried to take pictures. They didn't turn out too good. I thought I was taking a video of the finale but when it was over I noticed that it wasn't recording. Bummer. The parking lot was horrible when trying to leave. We got stuck being parked against traffic so we just had to sit while watching all the other motorists try to squeeze into 2 little lanes to get out of the lot. Also yesterday before getting to the stadium, we found the houses that were used in the filming of the original Halloween movie. That was neat too.
