Hello from New York. We flew most of the day yesterday which wasn't too bad. We went early enough so the airports weren't that bad yet. I'm excited to see everyone. That's it for now.

The last day

Hello again. First thing I want to say is to please keep Rob's dad in your prayers. I don't want to go into details but he's not doing all too well. Any prayer would be a great help I'm sure.

In happier news, it was my last day of work yesterday. It feels weird but great to never be going back there to work again. And its only fitting that the very last customer of the day was yelling at me and telling me I am horrible at my job. Funny. I got my vacation and sick day payout so I got paid in cash about the same amount that I make by working for 2 weeks. So I guess that evens out these next 2 weeks of me not working.

Christmas tiiiiiimme is heeeeere

Christmas is very close and the stores are crazy. My store had every possible register open and there were still long lines. Although the holiday season brings out the worst in consumers, it is also fun to be in the hustle and bustle of it all and see the decorations all over.
On Saturday, Rob and I went to the Oracle Post Christmas party. It was at a Moroccan resturant complete with belly dancers and Moroccan ambience. The food was ok. Everyone got a gift to take home (mine was a bag). The employees got real nice gifts. Stereo systems, dvd players, Ipod, etc. Rob got a palm pilot. So that was fun. We got booted out of the resturant though because we were staying later than the room was reserved for.
The latest season of Survivor is over now. It was a good one. Now comes American Idol. Guess that's about it for now. Bye!

The countdown

5 more days of work, and 8 more days until Buffalo! Woohoo!

And to give you an update, I am still getting those dumb 505 telemarketing calls. Usually its one a day though yesterday I got three.

Flashlight kitty

Yesterday Misty had her dental surgery. She got 24 teeth taken out. Now she has to have a cone around her neck for a few days so that she can't bite off her bandage on her back leg. She's not too fond of that. She looks like a big flashlight. Nor is she fond of her medication. But she's being really cuddly and friendly now that the pain that she's suffered for so long is gone.
On another topic, I put my 2 week notice in at work yesterday. Its been really really busy lately. A rich guy gave me a $20 tip. That was cool. How's everyone's Christmas shopping going? Mine is almost done. Woohoo. That's it for now.

Anniversary

Today is Rob and my 6 month anniversary. Yay!
