News and pics

Some bummer news first. Jon is moving back east in a month. First he'll stay back in Lockport. Then he's going to make his way to NYC. Yup it rotts but its best for him. On a lighter note, we went bowling last night which was a lot of fun. Went with Rob, Jon, one of Rob's co-workers and another couple. I bowled horrible at first but came back to bowl awesome by the end. Then Rob and Jason played the claw game (you know, that game where you try to grab the stuffed animals) and they both won!
Happy 1 year anniversary Michele and Drew! Seems like you were just celebrating your 6 month anniversary.
I promise I will have a new picture album up here very soon. For now, I have two pictures to show you. The first is an adorable pic of Milo with pumpkins. Very orange. The second is a Halloween party that my parents went to last night. There were a lot of funny costumes.

Parent's visit

My parents went back to New York yesterday after a week and a half out here. We had a good time. They mixed their time up by staying with us some of the nights and with the Wilbert's the other times. We went to Big Bear mountain which was interesting but not too busy in the summertime. I liked Arrowhead better. (Arrowhead is a little town several miles before hitting Big Bear) It was beautiful seeing all the scenery. But driving and weaving around the mountain side made us fairly queasy to our stomachs.
We got mom and dad watching the first season of Lost. I knew they'd like it.
I went up to Valencia both Fridays and watched Graham's football game. The first week they totally kicked butt. The second week was their homecoming week and they weren't so lucky that game.
Oh, mom and dad bought us a bed frame. Now our room actually looks like a real room. I like it!
Hmm. I'm sure I missed some stuff. Oh well. I'm going to post some pictures soon. So keep an eye out for them.

Pre-approved means nothing

A few weeks ago I got another "You're pre-approved for this credit card!" letter in the mail. I was actually interested in this one because it earned points toward free groceries so I applied for it. Well today I get a letter back saying that my request has been unapproved. Now I have 2 questions about that. #1: Why would I be unapproved? I have great credit! #2: The original letter said I was pre-approved. But apparently I wasn't. So basically they were lying? Gee nice.

Spongebob

Oracle Post got Spongebob at their studio. Well, not all of the show, just the sound fx editing and mixing. I'm not sure about any ADR. But Rob is going to get to be the assistant sound fx editor. So that is neat.

A whole new page

I grew tired of my old website. I never updated it anymore or put up any more pictures. So I decided to start this new site which I will post my blogs and more pictures more often.
I like this setup. Blog on the left and photos on the right. AND people can now put their names in the comment section so it won't always be from anonymous.
