Only the wealthy may fly

The rising gas prices are costing the price of flying to go up and up. Not only are ticket prices going up and the charges for baggage, but now US Airways are starting to charge extra for window and aisle seats. Granted, it is only $5 and only for the first few rows of the cabin but it is the start. I wouldn't be surprised if this trend continues. Being a person who flies a couple times a year, this stinks. I booked a flight in September on the cheapest airline, 4 1/2 months in advance AND online to get the online deal.... Its still cost me $392 to get back and forth....and that's cheap.

this is sad news to me. Its expensive enough to go from Australia to North America now, what's it going to be like in 3 years when we come home?

In Canada, they are thinking of adding a fuel surcharge so they can lower it/raise it to actually match how fuel is going. I think that is a little better so you can see the breakdown.
